Superbook Is a Doorway to Faith and Hope
In a remote community near Costa Rica’s border with Nicaragua, life can be challenging. Families often lack access to basic medical care, and children grow up in environments marked by uncertainty and hardship. But recently, this community experienced a day filled with hope, healing, and joy—thanks to a partnership between Operation Blessing and CBN Animation’s Superbook.
As Operation Blessing’s Mobile Medical Clinic arrived, dozens of families gathered to receive much-needed medical services. Among them were Nicaraguan brothers and sisters who crossed the border for help. While doctors cared for physical needs, the Superbook team focused on something just as vital—the hearts of the children.
Sharing God’s Love Through Superbook
The Superbook team created a vibrant space called the “Red Spot,” complete with flags, a backdrop panel, and an activity table for kids. Here, children completed coloring pages explaining salvation, enjoyed face painting, and—most importantly—watched episodes of CBN Animation’s Superbook like “Joseph and Pharaoh’s Dream” and “Samuel and the Call of God.”
Through these stories, the children learned two powerful truths:
- God has a plan for each of us—even in times of injustice and difficulty.
- God sees us before we are born, and even as children, we are precious to him.
As the kids laughed, played, and listened, something beautiful happened. Their guarded hearts began to open. Conversations about Jesus flowed naturally, and the message of salvation was shared in a way they could understand.
The result? Nine children made the decision to accept Jesus into their hearts. This was the most valuable fruit of the day—a transformation that will last far beyond the medical clinic.
