She Feared She’d Go Bald! But God Stepped In

“All these strange symptoms started; I was just trying to figure out the mystery.”

In October 2025, Ciaran Wood was helping her son clean up construction debris from the home he was building.

‘“There wasn’t good ventilation, and I breathed in a lot of particulate matter of all kinds of things. And after that my whole body started itch from my head all the way down to my toes. And I thought, ‘What's going on?’ It kind of came and went. At the same time, I got my hair done with a new hairstylist and I thought maybe I'm allergic to the hair chemicals now. A little bit after that is when I started to lose the hair. I lost a lot of hair, and I thought, “Gosh, I hope this stops. 'cause if it doesn't, it's gonna be time for a wig.” I went to the dermatologist, and he prescribed some medication. I brought it home and I read the label, and I thought, ‘I really don't wanna take this.’ And I just intensely started praying, “Lord, I don't understand what's going on here, but you do. I'm gonna wait on you.” And I just prayed.’”

Over the next six months, Ciaran continued to pray for healing, yet the hair loss didn’t improve. During that time, she often watched the 700 Club.
“It's always encouraging to me, and I love to get the Christian viewpoint on the world news 'cause you're not gonna get that, you know, from a local news station. It just kind of puts world events in perspective for me. And, and then I listen to people with their testimonies and their healings and then I'm encouraged because, you know, if God will do it for them, God can do it for me.”

Then, on the afternoon of May 7th, Ciaran was watching the show on her cellphone.

“‘I was looking at the little bar on my phone and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, this is just about the end.’ And Gordon prayed for some people, and it was Ashley's turn, and I was thinking, “Ashley, please say something about the lady that's losing her hair and doesn't know why.” And that’s what she did.’”

“There's a woman watching and you've got just severe hair loss, and you are not quite sure why this is happening, but it's very concerning to you,” says Ashley. “And I just believe God is healing you right now in Jesus' name. Whatever condition you've been diagnosed with because of that, I just believe God is healing you right now from just this rapid hair loss. In Jesus' name, I believe your hair is just going to continue to grow back in full health.”

“And I knew it was me,” says Ciaran. “I knew it was for me, and I started crying and I just stopped what I was doing and raised my hands. And I said, ‘Thank you, dear Lord. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for hearing me. Thank you!’”

Afterwards, Ciaran noticed that she wasn’t losing as much hair.
“It stopped. I just have regular hair loss now, just like I always did when I washed my hair or brushed my hair or whatever. So, I mean, it, it just stopped.”

Ciaran has continued to praise God for her healing and encourages others to pray for their own breakthrough.

“God hears you. He's listening, even if you don't feel like you're getting an answer. And hair loss is not like some big sickness or anything, but it mattered to me, and it mattered to him. So, I'm just grateful. He knows what's important to you. He has our best interest in mind. I'm not anybody special; I'm just a regular person and you know, and he heard me, so if he heard me, he'll hear you.”
